Wouldn't it be funny if...
...Saddam Hussein orchestrated the dissent in the Iraqi parliament over the U.N. resolutions only to come out in support of U.N. inspections later?
Hussein suddenly becomes the voice of reason in Iraq, thus winning him some breathing space and sympathy points around the world.
His country may be crushed by a U.S. invasion, but the guy is going to be wily to the end.
Just a thought.
Facts don't do what I want them to
Okay, so Iraq has ordered a lot of nerve gas antidote from Turkey.
But Turkey has stepped up to say that Iraq hasn't ordered said antidote.
Two ways to look at this, assuming Hussein did go shopping. Either a) Iraq did order the antidote because they are afraid of having nerve gas used on them by the U.S. or b) Iraq will use nerve agents as a way to level the playing field against a vastly superior force.
Or this is all just a big psych out by Team Bush in order to give the impression that Iraq does have chemical weapons and, ergo, Saddam Hussein must be removed.
On Edit: The solution to this mess may be in the thing the surrounds us, flows through us and binds us together. No, not that.
Try hydrogen.
