I know I'm overdosing on politics, but this is the last hit today, I swear (says the addict wrapping the rubber tubing around his arm).

Bush on "60 Minutes" last night.

"I do not need to explain why I say things. — That's the interesting thing about being the President. — Maybe somebody needs to explain to me why they say something, but I don't feel like I owe anybody an explanation."

I'll make a bold prediction that there'll be minimal outrage about this in the press. Just for fun, try to imagine Clinton (as president) saying this and the hellstorm that would follow.
