Getting my geek on

Yesterday, I picked up the special, super-duper, extend-o, remix DVD version of "Fellowship of the Ring." A four-DVD package for $30. Not a bad deal. Two DVDs hold the movie, the other two are all the yummy extras.

Tonight, wifey and I will cuddle on the couch with a pizza and try to watch the whole darn thing. I'll even sacrifice "NOW with Bill Moyers" for this. I'll tell you how much it rocks tomorrow (or soon...I have a couple essays in the works).

Keep your Harry Potter and your "Star Wars" prequels. I got the real thing in my living room tonight.

And then 33 days until "Two Towers."
