Briefly
Back from an evening of planning our European trip with our friends. Much done, very glad. Found some nifty places in Paris. We're planning to stay in London for a few days, then some places in the English countryside, then Scotland, then a few days in Paris. I'm jazzed about the beginning and end; I'm a city person, not much into the whole country scene. Wife is, however. Imagine "Green Acres" with the husband and wife attitudes reversed and you get the general idea.
Will give a larger update tomorrow when I'm at work, a place with a faster Net connection. Plus, wife needs to call her mom about travel arrangements for Christmas. We're going to Arizona! Yee-hah! Christmas in shorts! For someone who nearly always celebrated the birth of the J-man in the frigid tundra of Chicago, this is nothing but happy news.
French Word of the Day
tulipe noire (tu leep nwhar): "black tulip"; a unique thing; an oddity.
