A whole lot of Lott

Morning. I'm not writing anything else about Trent Lott...well, after this post. Frankly, it boils down to this: The guy popped off and said (at the very least) an incredibly stupid thing, got pissy for getting nailed on it, finally sorta-apologized, got his GOP cronies to circle the wagons for him, other embarrassing comments have surfaced, and now everyone is in a tizzy.

If you want to get your Lott on, and see where this carnival is headed, I recommend "The Note," a site that (next to Cursor) is the end-all, be-all of news junkiedom. Be aware that content on the site changes daily, but it still kicks ass.
